Ian Finger came out to my house and spent time answering questions and going over what to expect with solar.  Frankly I was reluctant because I have always heard stories about how companies would put on only the number of panels necessary to keep PG&E in a certain tier. He understood my concern and worked diligently to maximize roof space.  After seeing that solar installed through Ambrose would save hundreds each month it was a no brainer. City approval of the plans came next and that was not an easy task to say the least. The size of the system on an older house created concern from the inspector. Jumping through hoops, Ambrose made sure that they did everything that was asked of the inspector even though other cities don't have the same requirements. I was kept in the loop the whole time through text and email so I knew that Ambrose was on it. Today I constantly produce more than what I need and an electric bill is a thing of the past. I can't say enough good things about these guys.  They are professional and sincerely a step above all the other companies. They take the time to run wires through the attic so you don't see conduit on the roof.  They paint the stuff on the outside of the house. They measure and re-measure before install to make sure it all looks perfect. I will only recommend Ambrose Solar as they will take care of the customer and leave you happy!

I'm so glad I found Ambrose Solar! Researching which direction to go with Solar became an overwhelming task and my head was spinning. Ian and Pamela communicated each step with no surprises.  The work crew were all great, polite , helpful and explained everything.The Sun Power Panels and hardware are the best on the market. I am a happy camper especially when I watch my PG&E meter running backwards.

After doing some research, we contacted Ambrose Solar. We met with Ian to discuss our options. Ian was very professional and personable, he listened to what we wanted. Thanks Ambrose Solar! My husband and I used to live in Woodland and our PG&E bills were $700. We recently moved to Vacaville and there's no way I wanted to pay PG&E $700 this time so we called Ambrose Solar. I'm a retired nurse and didn't know much about solar. I didn't know much about Solar energy and stressed on which company to choose. But, Ambrose Solar made it easy and educated me on Solar energy. My wife and I are pleased that we choose them. I was tired of getting $500-$600 bills every summer, so I decided to install Solar. I initially called Sunrun (Costco). They quoted me a price for a 10kWh system, but I thought I could do better if I shopped around. I received 2 other quotes and was about to select one, then Ambrose Solar asked my wife if we were considering Solar. I sat with Ian the next day, and I showed him my quotes. Ambrose Solar was able to beat my lowest bid by a nice margin. The quote he gave me was based on the panels and equipment I selected. I had all of the companies use the same equipment and system size, so I would truly know which was the better deal. So in the end I received a great price, which, coupled with the tax rebate, will put me in the black in just under 5 years, after that, it's free energy. I've had my panels for over a month now and they've been producing more energy than I've been using and I use a lot of energy. My highest electric bill last summer was $832. Now I expect my electric bill will be zero. I had a great experience with Ambrose Solar and would recommend them to anyone.
